Introducing the XTRAC Community

The XTRAC Community is an XTRAC documentation feature powered by MadCap Pulse.

When you open a document that includes the XTRAC Community feature:

One of the XTRAC Community buttons is displayed near the top right corner of the topic. Note: The smaller button is used in newer document builds.

or

Note: The XTRAC Community button is not included on the title pages of the documents.

A five-star rating scale is displayed in the toolbar.

And the XTRAC Community section is added a the bottom of the topic.

Note: When you first open an XTRAC Community enabled document, it may take a few moments for the XTRAC Community section and features to display.

Note: The About the XTRAC Community ( ) button opens this, the XTRAC Community, document.

• Unregistered users can:
•  See the average of a five-star rating on the toolbar of each topic. See Viewing a Topic’s Rating (Registered and Unregistered Users).
•  Rate each topic using the five-star rating scale. See Rating a Topic (Registered and Unregistered Users).
•  View and search each topic’s feed in the XTRAC Community section at the bottom of the topic. See Searching the XTRAC Community Topic Feed (Registered and Unregistered Users).
• Register to become a member of the XTRAC Community. See Registering as a Member of the XTRAC Community (Unregistered Users). 
  
• Registered users can:
• Do all the things unregistered users can do.
• Login to the XTRAC Community. See Logging in to the XTRAC Community (Registered User.
• Submit status, questions, and articles to each topic’s feed. Note: All submissions are reviewed and approved by a moderator before they are posted. See:
• Posting Your Status to the XTRAC Community Feed (Registered Users)
• Posting a Question to the XTRAC Community Feed (Registered Users)
• Posting an Article to the XTRAC Community Feed (Registered Users) Submissions may include text, videos, images, and file attachments.
• Receive email notifications when changes are made to subscribed feeds and events. See Subscribing to and Unsubscribing from a Topic’s Feed (Registered Users).
• Modify and update their XTRAC Community profile. See Updating your Profile (Registered Users).
•  Log out from the XTRAC Community. See Logging out of the XTRAC Community (Registered Users).
